Welcome to 2tinycowboys for the Amiga 500 computer:
A single or 2-player, single-screen arcade-platformer, where you duke it out with a friend (or foe) in frantic local multiplayer action or take on the single-player variety.
In this version, as compared to its PC/Android counterpart, I will be trying to bring the spirit of 2tinycowboys to the Amiga 500.

Fight your way through 4 rounds on each level in single-player, or have a buddy join you and take on the action in 2-player. Just be careful who you shoot.
Zombies cannot be killed using bullets, only knife.
Boulders are indestructible.
All enemies can be killed instantly using knife.

To play multiplayer, simply walk into the door beside the text "Multi". Do note that you are able to play as Zeke (Player 2) in Solo -mode as well, but you will have to use the other joy-port.

To play 2 player against enemies, choose "2pSolo" once you've selected Multi.

To play any of the level(s), simply walk unto their respective door(s), with either Clint (Player 1), or Zeke (Player 2).

I will most likely be expanding further upon this, as I learn the Scorpion -engine and do have a different gameplay -mode in mind, that I would like to have created for the Amiga version, specifically.

The music was downloaded from the internet and belong to Karsten Koch and I take no credits for it, whatsoever.

Nice, but very hard game! Our German-language review can be found in our recorded livestream starting at 02:59:12. English subtitles are also available. Subscription to our YouTube and Twitch channel is welcome. 🙂

Thanks I'll be sure to check it out. =)

Even it is still in development, game is really fun to play with two player. I also included it in my new "Gameplay of New Amiga Games from October 2024" video, along with other Amiga games released in October.

Nice! Thank you very much. I am currently in the process of recreating the single-player mode (also trying to implement more 2 player modes). Hopefully next update will make the game feel more stable, but for now I hope everyone is enjoying it for what it currently is. There's more coming. =)

I am working on updating the single-player levels to be more in-line with its PC counterpart, i.e. way bigger - the levels currently available in single-player are mainly there to flesh out and try a few concepts. To get an impression of what the future holds, I have put together a quick little video of a test-level that I am currently using to try out various features/enemies and such:

Obviously I am too stupid: I am jumping and going to the "Solo" door and then? Why does the game not start into the single player mode...?

Sorry. Still very much WIP.

To choose the 'single-player' mode, walk unto the "SOLO" 'door' and then pick what level(s) you want to play.

The single-player levels available at the moment are mainly there for me to try out certain concepts. I have a vastly different single-player mode in mind, but am trying to limit myself much as possible, so that it will still be playable on a stock A500, unfortunately it seems as if though how I envision it, I might need to push the limit to an A1200 w/ 4MB, at least. But for now there are the same levels available both in multiplayer and single-player, long as you walk through the door that says: "SOLO". Currently you are able to pick what level you wish to play, in any order, but upon completing a level, you will be directed to the next in line.

Then, I think, there is a bug:

because if I choose the right character, then I can go to the Solo door, then screen vanishes, appears again, but the character has gone. I cannot choose a level. Please test it.

By the way, little article published:

Thanks for pointing it out. I'll be releasing an update to address all the 'minor' bugs soon. =) Glad to see word spreading around. =) I will continue developing/updating this for quite some time, as I have a few plans for it. =)

You're welcome! :)

And now, there is also the correct Amiga-News.de link above ;)

Nice game!

Thank you. It's in its early stages yet, with plenty more levels, bug-fixing and some more various play -modes coming up in the future. Currently working on implementing an A.I., so that it will be enjoyable single-player as well. I am grateful for being represented on your channel, as I have followed you for quite some time. =)
